Our Mission:

Providing fact-based information about Safe Consumption Sites in Yeg.

The Alberta Government set up three official ways for individuals to participate in the current review of supervised consumption services in Edmonton. We ask that you show your support

1.    Attend an upcoming town hall session in Edmonton. Those who wish to speak can register at the door (first come, first served) and are given three minutes at the microphone:

Wednesday, September 18 and Thursday, September 19, 5 to 9 pm –

Wildrose Ballrooms 2 and 3, Edmonton Inn and Conference Centre,

11830 Kingsway Avenue NW

2.      By completing the survey as individuals here or businesses here (see ‘Edmonton Facts’).

3.       By taking 30 seconds and sending a written submission to SCS.Review@gov.ab.ca here (see ‘Edmonton Facts’).

“The SCS is an essential contact point and pathway for vulnerable people who face many barriers to accessing better care. Removing the SCS would increase their risk in isolation and opportunity to improve their overall quality of life. There is no other service in Alberta that has the capacity to fill this void of over 10 000 addiction and treatment referrals ”
